Drifting Away.I ran in a frenzied rage against the enemy. My sword, stained with blood, pierced the flesh of my next victim. Screams and pleads for mercy were drowned out by screams of pain and agony. As I slayed all mercilessly, no hesitation to attack. Blood pooled into a sea at my feet as sweat dripped from my face The battle just begining. Minutes became hours. Hours became days. As I fought on, the faces of those I mercilessly slaughtered haunted my thoughts. I slayed on, hopelessly thinking that the faces, the screams, the pleads, would disappeDrifting Away.
