I ran in a frenzied rage against the enemy.
My sword, stained with blood, pierced the flesh of my next victim.
Screams and pleads for mercy were drowned out by screams of pain and agony.
As I slayed all mercilessly, no hesitation to attack.
Blood pooled into a sea at my feet as sweat dripped from my face
The battle just begining.
Minutes became hours.
Hours became days.
As I fought on, the faces of those I mercilessly slaughtered haunted my thoughts.
I slayed on, hopelessly thinking that the faces, the screams, the pleads, would disappear.
Another dead at the hands of a killer.
The sweet smell of blood and the crying screams sharpened my senses as I drifted away from reality.
Another fell before me in my blind onslaught.
Then, before I could regain focus,
Days became hours.
Hours became minutes.
As the faces of those whom I blindly killed in a frenzie driven by the taste of blood flashed before me.
Then, everything froze as I looked down to see a silver blade stained with my blood.
I dropped my weapon and grabbed the sliver of steel, cool and smooth beneath my bloodstained hands.
I fell to the ground, gasping for breath.
Everything a blurr.
The cold dirt sticking to my face.
Then, everything went black.
And I was nothing more than all of those I slaughtered.
A cold killer accepting the death of what he is.
And just like that, I drifted away.
Into the calm abyss of eternity..........
